Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 22, 2026

This policy covers information collected through healwithhaven.com. It is separate from our Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs your protected health information as a client of the practice. If you are a client, that notice is the one that applies to your health information.

What we collect

When you fill in our contact form: your name, email address, the state you live in, and how you’d prefer to be reached. We ask that you not include clinical or health details in this form, because a website form is not a secure channel.

When you book a consultation: our scheduling system collects the information needed to hold the appointment.

Automatically, when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site that referred you. This is standard web server and analytics data.

What we do with it

We use contact information to respond to you, and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it. We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent a message.

We use analytics data to understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site. There is no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel, and no retargeting tag. We do not build advertising audiences from the pages you read here. For a therapy practice this matters more than it does for most businesses: what you read on a mental health website can reveal a great deal about you, and we would rather not know.

Cookies

The site uses cookies necessary for it to function, and analytics cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Who else sees your information

Our website is hosted by Squarespace, and our email runs on Google Workspace. Both process data on our behalf. We share information with them only as needed to run the practice, and we do not otherwise disclose visitor information except where the law requires it.

Your choices

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Hello@HealWithHaven.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you are a client of the practice, your rights over your health information are broader and are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll post the revised version here with a new effective date.
