This website is not therapy

Everything on this site — the articles, the descriptions of what we do, the answers to common questions — is general information. It is not clinical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not treatment. Reading it does not make you our client.

A therapeutic relationship begins when you and a Haven clinician have agreed to work together and you have completed intake and consent paperwork. Not before, and not by sending us a message.

Please don’t send clinical details through the website

Our contact form and email are not secure. Don’t use them to describe symptoms, history, or anything you’d want protected. Once we’re working together, we’ll give you secure channels.

We also can’t give clinical advice by email to someone who isn’t a client. If you write to us with a clinical question, we’ll invite you to book a consultation rather than answer it.

In an emergency

Haven is not an emergency service and we do not monitor messages around the clock. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.

Where we can practice

Therapy is regulated state by state, and a clinician can only treat someone who is physically located in a state where that clinician is licensed. Our licensed states are listed on the Where We Practice page. Coaching is not clinical care and is available anywhere.

Fees

Current fees are listed on our Services page. We are a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance. Every client receives a Good Faith Estimate.
