Where We Practice
Therapy is licensed state by state. A therapist can only provide clinical care to someone who is physically located in a state where that therapist holds a license — not where you live, not where you’re from, but where you actually are when the session happens.
That sounds like a technicality until it isn’t. If you live in Maryland but take a session from a hotel in Ohio, we can’t see you that day. It’s worth knowing before you book.

Between us that’s six jurisdictions. When you book a consultation, we’ll confirm which of us can see you based on where you are.
Coaching is different
Coaching is not clinical care and is not licensed by state boards. That means we can work with you on coaching anywhere in the United States, regardless of where you’re sitting.
The difference in practice: therapy tends to look at healing what hurts, coaching tends to look at building what’s next. Plenty of women do both, at different points. If you’re not sure which you want, that’s exactly what the free consultation is for.
Moving, or traveling?
Tell us. If you’re relocating to a state where your clinician isn’t licensed, we’d rather plan the transition with you — including a referral to someone good — than have it come up the week you move.
